Lickimat Slomo Wet & Dry Double Slow Food Dog Bowl

Size: X- Large Black

Give your dog a fun way to relieve stress, fight boredom, and enjoy their favourite treats for longer with the Lickimat Slomo!

Crafted with a waffle-like textured pattern, this ingenious pet treat and food mat is tailored for medium to large dogs, extending the enjoyment of their treats while providing relaxation and alleviating anxiety or boredom, particularly in your absence. The deep pockets within the cubes offer a perfect spot for placing soft pet treats or even kibble, enabling better portion control during meal times.

As your dog glides their tongue over the textured surface, they’ll experience a soothing and cleansing sensation. The textured pattern aids in removing food particles and bacteria from the tongue, thereby enhancing overall dental and oral health. Additionally, repetitive licking stimulates saliva production, facilitating better digestion due to the enzymes present in saliva. For a refreshing treat on hot days, freeze treats like homemade bone broth, softened dog biscuits, or treat pastes on the Lickimat Slomo.

The act of licking and slow-feeding offers numerous benefits for your pet. It can help calm and relax them by triggering the release of endorphins, acting akin to a massage. Moreover, by enticing your pet to lick over the textured surface with treats, Lickimats can redirect their licking behaviour away from furniture and carpets, focusing their attention on a specific activity.

While Lickimats can aid in managing excessive licking behaviour, it’s essential to consult your vet if the licking persists. Excessive licking may indicate underlying medical conditions like arthritis or allergies, requiring professional attention. Additionally, Lickimats serve as effective tools for slow-feeding, ideal for pets prone to gulping down their food too quickly, which can lead to indigestion or choking. Utilize the limited space between the textured patterns of mats like the Lickimat Buddy Tuff to sprinkle kibble, encouraging your pet to eat more slowly and improving their overall feeding experience and digestion.
